I met up with Mark and Nadine at Dodford manor in Northamptonshire for their wedding consultation for their up and coming wedding and it turned out we had a couple of things in common, mainly our love of the Greek island Corfu and Motorsport. This gave us plenty to talk about while we got to know each other better.

We met again for their FREE pre wedding session at Dodford Manor venue,  which is a barn style setting in lovely country surroundings. Doing the pre wedding session at the venue helped immensely with knowing what lighting to use on the day. Dodford Manor has full length windows in both barns and depending on the weather on the day I knew I would be needing to take that light into consideration.

This is one of the reasons I do a FREE pre wedding session beforehand, also so that the bride and groom can choose their favourite locations from the images. This saves time and stress trying to scout out the best places on the day, when they could be spending time with their guests.

Nadine’s dress by Donna Solado was absolutely stunning and was definitely one of the nicest I’ve had the pleasure of photographing… AND, I see a lot of dresses doing this job! Her hair and makeup by Beauty with Inn complimented the dress nicely as did the flowers by Jack Haddon

Nadine and Mark had hired the magician John Constantine for the day, he wondered around doing some great tricks, this was an important part of the day for Nadine and Mark and something they really wanted to be captured.

Mark and Nadine chose the full day collection and opted for a second photographer and photo booth for the evening. It was great staying so late, with it being near the longest day the sun didn’t disappear until later on, but we managed to catch the beautiful sunset before I left.

When the first dance was called, Mark was surprised by Nadines niece singing their chosen song for them to dance to. Such a lovely little touch to end a perfect day.

I wish Mark and Nadine all the happiness in the world for your new life together.

Until next time!
