Februarys Kettering Park Wedding was always going to be tricky with Storm Dennis blowing a gale.
However, Louise and Tom had already made a few photography decisions on their pre wedding shoot which made my job easier.
Thankfully the ceremony was also at the hotel, so once we were there, we didn’t have to go outside again.
Louise and Tom both got ready at Kettering Park which meant I could go from room to room with ease. Capturing both bridal prep and groom prep without having to have a second photographer with me.
It was nice to have the bridal suite available early so we could take some photos before the wedding.
Clutter is one of the most challenging things a wedding photographer must deal with at bridal prep and this helped.
It was nice to go down and get some photos of Tom and his groomsmen in the hotel foyer. Not one for standard posed shots we had a laugh capturing some fun and natural ones instead.
Thankfully, Kettering Park has plenty of beautiful indoor locations to get creative with and I’m hoping we pulled it off. The staircase, foyer and snug played a big part on such a stormy day.
Louise and Tom had already decided on bubbles instead of confetti, which were blown by their guests from the stairs.
Hats off to them both for lying down in the middle of the reception from some creative shots. It is always nice to try something a bit different.
Dennis might have been troublesome for most, but it didn’t stop Louise and Tom enjoying their big day.
I thank them for letting me play such a big part in their Kettering Park Wedding and wish them all the happiness for their future together.
Until next time!
