The wedding of Georgina and Julian was the first I had done at the church in Wootton, Northampton.

We had been to the church beforehand at the pre wedding shoot to scout the grounds for their special photos.

Each of my Northamptonshire wedding photography collections includes a pre wedding shoot. This is so we can suss out what photos we want before the big day.

This saves quality time on the wedding day, so the bride and groom can enjoy time with their guests instead.

Georgina and Julian’s reception were held at Bugbrook sports hall. They had decked this out beautifully with turquoise drapes and hanging birds.

Julian has a keen interest in birds and it was lovely to see this theme followed through.

It just goes to show you don’t always need an expensive manor house to make your wedding day special.

Although the church grounds were beautiful for their Northamptonshire wedding photography. Georgina and Julian decided to stop off at the canal for a few extra shots.

Here I took my (what is becoming infamous) shot of the wedding car coming over the top of the canal bridge.

This was the third time I have used the same bridge and thankfully as of yet, I have not been run over.

The weather was hot and sunny on the day and Georgina looked amazing in her dress by Monsoon.

Her hair by Slave Daventry, suited her and the flowers from The Garden of Weedon perfected the look.
